Wine has been grown in the UK since Roman times. In a small village in Northmaptonshire, a 10 hectare vineyard dating back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries has been excavated. Cultivated viticulture has been reported since the 8th century. A very old history indeed!

The quality of the wines has undergone a long development. In 1992, 140 wineries could qualify for the classification '' Quality Wines ''. And now wines are made of the highest level. Many prizes are won at international wine competitions.

England is one of the cool-climate countries and therefore produces wines with a stimulating acidity and fine dead drinkability. Mainly white grape varieties are planted, but sparkling wines in particular do very well worldwide.

Dit is een hele mooie zomerse rosé die het goed doet op een tuinfeest, een bbq maar ook gezellig met vrienden achter in de tuin. Kleine hapjes erbij en genieten!
