Greece is one of the oldest wine countries in the world. In the Greek writings from antiquity, much is written about wine and the pleasure of it. The reference on the vines also showed the importance of wine. Now, Greece is, unfortunately, the only European country where the area for wine growing is decreasing. But fortunately, the Greeks have never left their vines!

More than 85% of all vineyards are planted with indigenous grape varieties on old vines. Agiorgitiko, Xinomavro, Savatiano and Roditis are some of these grape varieties. And let's not forget Retsina! The symbol of Greek gastronomy and vinified with pieces of pine resin. An age-old method that gives the wine a very specific taste and smell.
