Chenin Blanc 'Die Groot Lag'

Good as an aperitif, with raw, lightly grilled and mi-cuit preparations fish with emphasis on freshness, raw and cooked shellfish with citrus and raw and dried meat. Also good with salads with vinaigrette, raw and cooked vegetables and fresh goat cheeses.

Combines well with firm fish with red wine sauces, raw and dried beef and veal and fried or grilled white meat, poultry, veal and pork with pickled vegetables. Also nice with spicy dishes based on red fruit, pastas in tomato, light stews in combination with silver onions and semi-hard cheeses.
